The franchise agreement generally stipulates that the franchisee mut pay an entry fee.
The amount of this entry fee is freely determined by the franchisor. It includes:
– access to know-how
– the right to become a member of the network
– the right to benefit from the trademark’s reputation
– and, if required, initial training and support on opening.
This entry fee is generally paid on the date the franchise agreement is signed, and is non-refundable.
